Shanahan talked to his players and pointed to that valley in franchise history

FILE - In this Oct. 22, 2017, file photo, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan speaks at a news conference after a 40-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in an NFL football game, in Santa Clara, Calif. The 49ers are still searching for their first wiin under coach Shanahan.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Cheap NFL Jerseys) — Before the 49ers created one of the NFL's greatest dynasties, they were at the bottom of the NFL barrel.

San Francisco won its first Super Bowl in 1981, two years after going 2-14 in Bill Walsh's first season as coach. That team began 0-7, which first-year coach Kyle Shanahan's club matched with its 40-10 loss Sunday Jerseys NFL Wholesale,to the Cowboys.

The night before the game, Shanahan talked to his players and pointed to that valley in franchise history and the decade-long peak that followed, which included four Super Bowls.

"I talked to (the team) about how they didn't just get to that '81 season," Shanahan said Monday. "I think they went through a lot of stuff in those two years prior to that, some hard work, and had to grind out and find out the types of people that coach Walsh wanted on that team. I think they went through a lot of adversity to get to that '81 team. I kind of made some comparisons to that with what we're going through right now."

Sunday's 30-point blowout was unlike the previous six losses. The 49ers became the first team in NFL history to lose five straight games by three points or fewer. That was a silver lining for a team focused on building for the future. Shanahan said the performance against Wholesale Jerseys,Dallas was San Francisco's worst of the year, and it showed up in the box score.

The Cowboys rumbled to 501 yards of offense while Ezekiel Elliott accounted for 219 from scrimmage (147 rushing and 72 receiving) along with three touchdowns. The 49ers managed just 290 yards in rookie quarterback C.J. Beathard's first start.

Despite his team's struggles, Shanahan has tried instilling in his players that they can replicate the rise of Walsh's team.

"I'd like to feel we're ahead of them. We don't have the record to show for it," Shanahan said. "But I just try to put it into perspective for people that no matter how tough things are, no matter how bad people say they are, that you got to be strong minded, you got to know where you're going and what it's going to take to get there. And just because it's hard on your way there, doesn't mean you can't stop believing in what you think's important and working at it every day. I think they were a perfect example of a team that did that."

The 49ers next play the NFC East-leading Eagles in their fourth road game in five weeks. They expect to have rookie linebacker Reuben Foster available after he left Sunday's game with a rib injury.Cheap Jerseys Online, Tests confirmed that Foster didn't break any ribs, Shanahan said.

The team might be without defensive back K'Waun Williams (quad) and right guard Brandon Fusco (biceps). Right tackle Trent Brown will begin the week in the concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's game in the second half.

NFL Jerseys 2018

Los Angeles Chargers' Hunter Henry (86) celebrates his touchdown catch with Tyrell Williams (16) and Keenan Allen (13) in the second half of an NFL football game against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, in Arlington, Texas. LOS ANGELES (AP) — When the Chargers started the season 0-4, relocation appeared to be no cure for this franchise's recent history of heartbreakingly  Wholesale Cheap NFL Jerseys , close defeats and painful losing seasons. Coach Anthony Lynn wasn't a part of those previous teams in San Diego, and his exciting Los Angeles Chargers are on an undeniable upward swing. The Chargers (5-6) are getting a long weekend off with their families after capping back-to-back victories in five days with  a 28-6 road rout  of the Dallas Cowboys. That Thanksgiving outing was LA's third game in 12 days overall, but surviving that packed schedule has allowed the Chargers to get a few extra days of rest when they really need it for the playoff pu...

The second-year back spent much of the game watching from the sideline

With 10 combined three-and-outs in the first half, this game doubled as a white-knuckle slugfest until the Titans (2-1) and Seahawks (1-2) awoke on offense in a game that boiled down to the final minutes. Here's what we learned from Tennessee's 33-27 win over Seattle: 1. Everybody owes an apology to DeMarco Murray (14/115/1). Largely written off,  Cheap NFL Jerseys ,   the veteran Titans back broke the game open with a 75-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, a feat that surprised a general public expecting Derrick Henry (13/54) to be crowned as the team's unquestioned workhorse. The second-year back spent much of the game watching from the sideline. It's worth noting that Seattle's much-ballyhooed defense was gashed for 196 yards on the ground after allowing the Niners to blast away for 159 yards in Week 2. 2. What to make of Seattle's offense? After an ugly -- and, frankly, boring -- start on Sunday, Russell Wilson leaned on a monster game fro...

Wholesale Cheap NFL Jerseys

The San Francisco 49ers brought in Jimmy Garoppolo this week, and despite some viewing it as a chance to get a six- or seven-game tryout for the QB before paying him with either a lucrative long-term deal or an even more lucrative franchise tag, the Niners' brass made it fairly clear Tuesday they view the former New England Patriot as a franchise QB. One of the biggest reasons why? Per John Lynch,  Jerseys NFL Wholesale , coughing up a high second-rounder for a tryout is not something he'd do. "Honest to God, we need to get him in the playbook, that's where we're going to start, first things first. But I can tell you, second-round picks are very valuable in this league," the 49ers general manager said, "particularly where we are at as an organization, and so this is a guy you want and were willing to give what we thought was a very valuable commodity in exchange for him. So we're excited moving forward that he's going to be a part of our futu...
